Zimile

As we enter 2026, we do so with clarity of purpose and confidence in the path ahead. Zimile’s FY30 strategy gives us a strong, disciplined framework to guide our growth, sharpen our performance and strengthen our impact as a leading engineering consulting firm.

Our strategic focus is clear. Operating excellence sits at the heart of everything we do. It is not a slogan, but a commitment to how we work, how we lead and how we deliver value to our clients, our people and the communities we serve.

Profitable growth with purpose

In 2026, our priority is sustainable, profitable growth. We are expanding into new sectors such as energy, while continuing to strengthen our presence across both public and private markets. This balanced approach allows us to diversify risk, deepen client relationships and pursue work that aligns with our expertise and values.

At the same time, we are sharpening our focus on project profitability, cost efficiency and productivity. Doing the right work, priced appropriately and delivered efficiently, is essential to building a resilient business that can thrive in a competitive and changing environment.

Putting clients at the centre

Our clients remain central to our strategy. This year, we will focus on strengthening long-term partnerships, improving the client experience and increasing the value we deliver on every engagement. From improved communication and delivery discipline to post-project engagement, we are committed to consistently high standards of service.

By deepening our understanding of client needs and expanding our service offering, we aim to grow revenue per client while maintaining trust, quality and accountability.

Digitising the way we work

Operational excellence requires modern, integrated systems. In 2026, we will continue to digitise our processes, methodologies and governance frameworks. The migration of our systems and standard operating procedures to platforms such as SharePoint and ACC is a key enabler of efficiency, consistency and quality across the organisation.

These investments are about more than technology. They aim to create transparency, improve collaboration, reduce inefficiencies, and enable our teams to focus on high-value engineering work.

Innovation and capability for the future

Innovation is critical to our long-term success. Through a structured innovation pipeline and the development of new intellectual property, we are investing in future-ready solutions across engineering technology and green infrastructure.

Equally important is our investment in people. Developing technical capability, nurturing future leaders and retaining top talent are essential to achieving our FY30 ambitions. Our Centre of Excellence and leadership development initiatives are designed to embed best practice, build depth of expertise and create clear pathways for growth within Zimile.

A collective commitment

None of this is possible without the dedication and professionalism of our people. 2026 is a year of execution, accountability and collaboration. It is about embedding a culture of performance, recognition and continuous improvement, where excellence becomes the standard, not the exception.

I would like to thank our clients, partners and colleagues for their continued trust and commitment. Together, we are building a stronger, more resilient Zimile, positioned to deliver meaningful infrastructure solutions and lasting value as we work towards our FY30 vision.

I look forward to the year ahead and to what we will achieve together.
